My Story
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about my story!
My name is Sarah-Michelle Rowlands and I am a Secondary School Teacher and an Independent Scentsy Consultant.
I joined Scentsy in June 2020, the day after I discovered that I was having a miscarriage. This was naturally one of the most devastating times of my life and being entirely honest, I just needed something new to take my mind off of everything going on in my life.
I had never tried the products, not even a sample!! I contacted my sponsor with the intention of buying two warmers and a few wax bars (Etched Core Rose Gold x 2 and Luna and Amazon Rain!!) and ended the conversation as a brand new Scentsy Consultant with no idea just what I had let myself in for!!
I knew that Mum and I would be placing orders every month so I started with the aim of just putting my own orders through. It gave me access to some pretty awesome presents for birthdays and Christmas for the rest of the family too! Before I had even received my kit, I had reached Shooting Star, an achievement that only 30% of consultants manage! From there, I never looked back!
I was always worried about speaking to people because I have a hearing deficiency and wear 2 hearing aids but I have overcome this to deliver regular training to my team and support them to grow their own businesses. There is so, so much support in our Scentsy Community and I really am not exaggerating when I say that I have a whole new family!
